ITIL V3 Bridging Course for Foundation Certificate Holders
Duration: 1 day
(Includes a 30 minute, 20 question multiple-choice exam; ISEB facilitates and marks the examination, which is scheduled at approximately 4:30pm on the same day as the course.)
Course Content
This course will cover the differences between V2 and V3 and give you an understanding of the updated ITIL framework. It is an intense 1 day course and assumes knowledge of ITIL V2. You will understand how the ITIL service lifecycle approach processes can support the business by improving IT operations. Our course covers:
- An overview of the structure, components and processes of the five core ITIL books
- An overview of ITIL V3’s key concepts, definitions, objectives and certification levels, and how ITIL processes can improve IT operations
- Understand ITIL V3’s service lifecycle approach
- For each of the five core books in the service lifecycle: Review the main activities, goals, benefits, challenges and management reporting for the respective processes
- Outline of relationships between the processes
- A look at the glossary of new key ITIL definitions
- What has changed and what remains the same from V2 to V3

Prerequisite
Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management V1 or V2. You will need to provide your certificate number and/or a copy of your certificate before attending the 1 day ITIL V3 Bridging Course for Foundation Certificate Holders.
