The goal of this 5 day course is to provide students with information and practice activities to prepare them to secure the wireless network from security threats via appropriate security policies and best practices to ensure the proper implementation of security standards and proper configuration of security components, and to integrate the wireless network with the existing wired security infrastructure..

Course Objective

Module 1: Organizational and Regulatory Security Policies

·          Upon completion of this module, the student should be able to translate organizational and regulatory security policies and enforce security compliances.

Module 2: Design and Implement Guest Access Services

·          Upon completion of this module, the leaner should be able to design and implement guest access services on the WLAN controller.

Module 3: Secure Client Devices

·          Upon completion of this module, the leaner should be able to integrate security on client devices.

Module 4: Design and Integrate Wireless Network with NAC

·          Upon completion of this module, the leaner should be able to design and integrate a wireless network with NAC.

Module 5: Implement Secure Wireless Connectivity Services

·          Upon completion of this module, the leaner should be able to implement secure wireless connectivity services on the WLAN controller.

Module 6: Integrated Security Features

·          Upon completion of this module, the leaner should be able to use the integrated security features on the WLAN controller to isolate and mitigate security threats to the WLAN.

Module 7: Integrate the WLAN with Advanced Security Platforms

·          Upon completion of this module, the leaner should be able to integrate the WLAN controller with advanced security platforms on the wired network.
