Course Content

 

The goal of the 5-day IUWMS course is to provide professionals with information to prepare them to integrate mobility services into the network; tune and troubleshoot the WLAN and implement indoor enterprise mesh networks.

 

 

Course Objective

 

Module 1: Design WLAN Infrastructure for Mobility

·          Upon completion of this module, the student should be able to design a WLAN infrastructure for mobility.

 

Module 2: Implement Advanced Services and Manage with WCS and WCS Navigator

·          Upon completion of this module, the student should be able to implement advanced services and manage with the WCS and WCS Navigator.

 

Module 3: Implement Cisco 2700 Series Appliance Location-Based Services

·          Upon completion of this module, the student should be able to implement Cisco’s Location-based Services.

 

Module 4: Implement MSE Architecturep>

·          Upon completion of this module, the student should be able to implement the Mobility Services Engine into the wireless network.

 

Module 5: Describe Outdoor Wireless

·          Upon completion of this module, the student should be able to describe the outdoor wireless networks and products.

 

Module 6: Implement and Manage an Enterprise Mesh

·          Upon completion of this module, the student should be able to implement and manage an indoor enterprise mesh.

 

Module 7: Advanced Tuning and Troubleshooting

·          Upon completion of this module, the student should be able to optimize and troubleshoot the WLAN.

·          Configuring and Tuning the 2700 Series Location Appliance

·          Tracking Mobile Clients

·          Calibrating RSSI for the Cisco and AeroScout Implementation

·          Configuring, Generating, Interpreting Location and Event Notifications

·          Describing Location Appliance Maintenance

·          Troubleshooting Location-based Services

 

Implement MSE Architecture
